Advanced Moisture System

This is a plugin for the Advanced Extensions Pack. Currently it adds a humidity element to the game which is used for drying crops. Crops, once harvested, can be dried in any silo configured as a storage dryer or having the capacity to hold dryable fill types.

This system can be configured by adding a configuration xml to your mod card (sdk coming later). However, it does not require any configuration to be used. Unconfigured maps will record all crops within a harvest moisture range of 10 to 30 percent. Loss of yield and price can occur if you harvest/sell crops that are too wet.

Moisture can be determined by simply walking across a field ready for harvest or inside vehicles/storages. I am currently working on expanding this system and making it more realistic in the future. This version is an upgrade from the previous one and is intended to give functionality while I work on the more complex version.

Storage fill types that are too wet for too long will result in storage loss. This loss is even higher as the stored humidity is high. This can be adjusted by configuring placement items to be more „efficient”, configured inside a map, or by using in-game settings to adjust (or disable) the rate of storage degradation overall .

The menu can be accessed in-game by pressing Right Shift + 0 (default).
